Uzbekistan possesses strong agricultural resource potential and has the ability to cultivate more than 10 million tons of fruits and vegetables per year. Annually Uzbekistan produces 1.7 million tons of horticultural and viniculture products, 5 million tons of melons, gourds and potatoes.
